Adrenaline Rush

For I know the plans I have for you, "declares the Lord", plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a FUTURE. Jeremiah 29:11

This is my go to scripture for theparablegirl and my go to scripture for life. No matter how anxious, confused, filled with doubt, scatterbrained or alone I feel sometimes when I recite this scripture immediately peace manifests. It is a reminder, a recharger when my battery has run low, it is my adrenaline rush that God made me somebody, his somebody. It reminds me that I matter. We matter in this big world. His plans for us will work out. This scripture proves this and it makes me smile inside out.

For those that don't know me I have recently picked up an extreme hobby: skydiving. After a few tandems I want to fly solo. Although my mind tries to convince me that the idea of having a skydiving license is insane!!!!!!!! my heart pumps with joy at the very thought. Yes it is a perfect example of living life on edge but it also signifies trusting God with my everything. It is taking a LEAP of Faith...and enjoying every second of the free fall.................................................................................................

It is saying "Yes" when everything thing/ body may say "You must be smoking. Heck NO."

Why? Am I just plain crazy?? No. I was simply born for it.

That is what being a parable girl is all about. Taking huge leaps of faith. Not waiting for a crowd to root you on. The parable girl is confident and obedient to her calling. She doesn't know what's down the road or if she will endure a bump or two for the cause  but she loves the God that made her. She is BOLD, EXPECTANT, and so ready for whatever God has in store. Why? She was born for such a time as this. She knows she won't die before her time so she takes the road less traveled. She knows her boldness will make many women bold.  For she was born for such a time as this.... What is your rush?
