The Blood Speaks Jesus
Anyone who hates another brother or sister is really a murderer at heart. And you know that murderers don’t have eternal life within them."
Anyone make your blood boil? Anyone you can't stand? Anyone you imagine harming? When Cain killed Abel his blood spoke from the grave of injustice and the blood was like a loud shout in the ears of God. Abel was calling out to a Savior to save what was destroyed (relationship). Abel's blood was audible to God and so is our blood when there is hatred in our heart for another. But when we receive salvation we receive Jesus blood. Jesus blood will overcome hate. Jesus blood will wash away blind rage. Jesus blood will speak over any conflict. Do you have Jesus blood? Just remember when you want to pick sides on who is right and who is wrong remember the sacrifice was already made on the cross. It is because his blood ran out he is able to share a perfect covenant with us that is holy, that is elevated above controversy, that is special. His blood speaks and tells us to settle down in his promise.
Who have you wronged? Who have you called out of their name? You can’t be a full representation of a redeemed when you turn around and lash someone with your words. Who are we to look down on another for their wrongdoings when Jesus pulled us out of a quicksand of wrongdoings that were ready to swallow us whole? Instead of lashing out the whip of chastisement lets pull out the word of God and disciple those that need to be redirected, those that need guidance and those who feel like giving up. Jesus bled to wash all of our sins not just for the select and the elite but also for the bruised, the battered and the bloodied with shame.
His blood speaks and tells us he is the King of kings pull up a seat by the throne and watch justice reign. Have you been wronged? Give him your fighting gloves and let the master champ stand in your place. He will replace your indignance with his power to heal, reveal and restore. Replace the blood of someone who murders and slanders with their tongue with blood of a Savior who restores with his Word. Does your blood speak vengeance or restoration? We are only allowed one pick.
